Mike Weinbach 

President 

Mike Weinbach serves as President of Mr. Cooper Group overseeing operations, including Originations, Servicing and Technology. Mike joined Mr. Cooper in January 2024.

 Mike has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with extensive experience in the mortgage industry. Previously he served as CEO of Consumer Lending for Wells Fargo where he was responsible for consumer lending and payments products and services across several businesses including Home Lending, Auto Lending, Credit Cards, Merchant Services, Student Lending and Personal Lending.  

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in early 2020, Mike spent 16 years at JPMorgan Chase, where he most recently served as CEO of Chase Home Lending. While at Chase, he was part of the Consumer Leadership Team and held leadership roles across Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Home Lending and Auto in sales, finance and operations. 

Mike holds a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
